O Create a new connection (you'll be prompted to do so). O In HAM RADIO DELUXE main module, click the button on the main menu and select COM Port TX: O The first value is the default and the second (in parenthesis) are what I used.ĭata Off Mod - MIC or MIC, ACC (MIC, ACC)ĪCC/USB AF Beep/Speech Level - Off (No Such Setting)ĪCC/USB Output Select - AF (No Such Setting)ĬI-V UAB Port - Unlink From REMOTE (Unlink From REMOTE) O I used the default CI-V address of 94h because something I was messing with wouldn't let me change that value in the software so I just left the default value set. Don't know where they will be on the 7100. O These settings are under MENU -> SET -> CONNECTORS on the IC-7300. I think the IC-7100 is the same since I used that radio with the old (free) version of HRD. Here is what I run on my IC-7300 and HRD. CTS was for Kenwood radios from the instructions so doubt that would be my issue. Not sure if others have seen this problem or where I have gone wrong. It starts to do things and then gets to reading frequency and fails this part, seems to attempt 3 times but same result and a dreaded popup box appears. I understand my radio should be on, set to the CI-V add "box" to 88 on the HRD software, and verified memory mode is not on. I have played with the COMM ports, speed, DTR, and RTS settings but so far no banana. Before I send a message to the Ham Radio Deluxe help desk figured I might ask here. I have installed the USB 1.3 software from Icom to communicate with the radio to my computer. I currently cannot get my radio and my computer to talk to each other (Icom-7100 and windows 10 machine Via usb port, Icom cable has been plugged in). Well figured I might try this (registered) software out since I now can actually hear people talking and would like to start logging contacts if I can.
